Mom only knew dad a short time before they were married.
They met at a market where both worked; she told me it was love at first sight.
Mom told me the manager said to both of them,
"you two should get married so we can get some work done around here".
They took his advice and we can never thank him enough.
She married Dad on August 6, 1941 and they were together until his passing 62 years later.
So for the past 73 years, 62 of them married to dad, mom devoted her life and her heart to him, to her children, her grand children and her great grandchildren. Mom was always gentle, always kind and never had a disparaging remark to say about anyone.
Mom was boundless in the unconditional love that she gave.
If I had to think of a way to best describe mom it would be from:
Corinthians Chapter 13: verses 4-7 in that:
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast;
it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Mom- Rest in the Peace that Christ has prepared for you, you deserve it!

It took me some time to think about what to write about you mom and not to make it too long. I had the privilege of meeting her about 35 years ago. She truly was like a mom to me not a mother in law. You could not have met a person who had more of a warm welcoming to her family than ma. She was a strong, warm and wonderful woman. She certainly was one of a kind. I am so thankful and blessed that we were able to keep in touch all these years. She will be greatly missed. Love ya ma. Rest in peace.

Mom was full of love and always showed grace. Our world is darkened with her passing but heaven has been brightened with her presence. We could not have been blessed more as to have received the unconditional love that mom had always given to us and everyone she knew.

Mom was a generous and loving person to everyone. I am blessed to have had her in my life for such a long time.
I appreciate all the support from my brothers over the years and am very grateful for my family.
