I am grateful for the support Rita gave me when we worked together in the Bethlehem Central School District. I enjoyed our chance meetings at the grocery store after she left. Her thoughtfulness and generosity will be missed.

I was very sad when Jessica told me of Rita's passing. We have known Rita since we moved into Terramere in 2001. She and Jim were wonderful neighbors; kind, considerate and welcoming. They both had such wonderful and unique senses of humor. May they be joined together in heavenly peace.

We were so sorry to hear about Rita’s passing. She was a good friend, colleague and educator. We always enjoyed our times together going to dinner, going to the Keys, going to educational outings, etc. She will be missed.
It is never easy losing someone so close to our heart. The pain and sorrow can be overwhelming. There is nothing we can say or do that will make your hurt go away. With our experience of the loss of a dear one, it is the memories we hold in our hearts of the times spent together that always bring a smile to our faces. These memories helped get us through the difficult times. We are hoping that the memories you have of Rita will help ease your sorrow.
Sending much comfort, peace and friendship,
Rosemary Tucci and Ed Kozacek

I met Rita at my old job. I started walking her dog Renny and stayed walking him since 2018. She was in my life since 2017. I will never forget how much faith Rita had in me with my dreams. She helped me become the person I am today and I will forever be grateful. I miss her and will always miss her. She was the best person and looked out for others.

Knowing and working with Rita was a highlight of my career. She was truly dedicated to ensuring that children grew to achieve all that she knew they were capable of doing. She added so much to the lives of so many.

We were heartbroken to learn of Rita’s passing. We extend our sympathy to Nancy, Jane and families.
We are so thankful Rita’s sister, Nancy, linked Beth with Rita when she left WNY for UAlbany in 2002-2003. They immediately bonded and an awesome connection of friendship, guidance & professional mentorship began, and continued to the end. We were happy to have Rita & Jim join us on Beth’s Master’s graduation day 2007.
Rita and Jim were a special couple. They will be happy to be reunited again.

I had the pleasure of working with Rita at both the State Education Department and Bethlehem Public Schools. She was a passionate, bold, and resourceful educator and advocate for children with special needs. She was also a smart, witty, and classy friend who always found a reason to celebrate!

To some people I might just a Manicurist and that she’s just a customer, but to me she was like a mother that always lead me to the right direction. She would always help me understand the what life was like for my autistic son. Through the last 8 years we would see each other every two weeks, we laughed and cried about numerous things that occurred in our lives. Maybe that’s what brought us so close to each other. I can’t stop thinking about her from this day on. What will I do when I can’t see her from this day on? The only thing I have left is to always remember all the good laughs we had together and to hold you close to my heart. Forever in my thoughts. I will always love and miss you.
Love always,
Lily Ho and family
