Obituary of Rosemary Torre

Rosemary Torre, 95, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland.

Born on July 22, 1926 to Antonio and Mary Ferrare Cascioli in Rosetta, PA, she was the youngest of nine, predeceased by a sister and seven brothers.  Rosemary was the wife of the late Anthony Torre who predeceased her on January 1, 2008.  Survivors include two daughters, Anita Brooks (Richard) of Niskayuna and Mary J. Stack (Gerald) of Slingerlands; grandchildren, Patrick Desmond (Diane), Tony Desmond (Meredith), Brian Stack, and Nicole Lodise; great grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Desmond, Isabella Rose Lodise, Aidan, Mason and Isabella Desmond.

She was the owner of the Bridal Gallery for 20 years until her retirement.  Prior to that, she worked alongside her husband as a bookkeeper for his businesses.  Rosemary and her husband enjoyed boating and were members of Ravena Coeymans Yacht Club.  She enjoyed baking, cooking, and was a gifted seamstress.  Her spirit lives on and always will, in the memories of those whose lives she touched, and in being so remembered, her legacy will live on.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday, December 4, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Church (formerly St. James Church), 391 Delaware Ave., Albany.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
