Paco - I was so sorry to hear of Sheila’s passing. I have great memories of St Croix times - playing darts outside, steak sandwiches at The Stone Balloon. Sheila was always such fun to be around. Take care. Linda Hintz

Dear Frank (Paco) and Family, Bill and I are deeply sorry about Sheila's passing and your loss. I have many fond memories from our working together at the Ethics Center over the years. Her down to earth aproach to examining ethical problems and her quick wit, among many other qualities, will always stay in my mind. She became a good friend and she leaves a void.
Wishing you much peace.

Sheila was a neighbor in the 1970's. I remember several hiking trips in the autumn to the Mohonk House where we delighted in our ambles and hikes among the cliffs. Pilar and my nieces Lisa and Julie would join us on these hikes in what remain very fond memories. Whether it was on Groesbeck Place or on Font Grove Rd., I have many happy and kind memories of Shelia. Yes, she was smart, outspoken, straight forward and sassy! I never had to guess what Shelia thought about things. She always made me laugh. She will be missed by all who knew her. My deepest sympathy to Paco, Alexis, and Pilar and her family. Bob Kavanaugh

My deep sympathy to Paco and his family at the loss of their beloved Sheila. I met her in the late ‘70s, when our children attended the Slingerlands Nursery School and her wry sense of humor, endearing candor, and warm friendliness lit up parent gatherings. May she Rest In Peace. Stephanie Bollam

Frank, Sheila and I worked together at AMC. She attended Surgery Mortality and Morbidity Conference, which I ran, and over many years I found her to be a most valuable resource for ethical decision making. She and i interacted with students and residents alike. I feel that we were not only colleagues but friends. After my retirement we met at Paneras for coffee and reminisced about our work life at AMC. My thoughts are with you. She was a great lady. Tony Deluca
