On Tuesday, March 16, I lost my VERY BEST Friend. His name was Barry Junco.
We became friends at ENCON in 1981. He was easy going, sweet, loads and loads of love for his friends and all the dogs and cats he ever had. He was a dependable friend and Trustworthy. He always was laughing and making the silliest comments that I'll never forget because I loved my friend. I feel so lost without him. My heart is broken.
He was good to my kids, who will never forget him either. My grand-boys called him uncle Barry. At the cape last year the kids called him Poseidon because when he came out of the ocean with his long hair and beard he looked like Poseidon himself. They enjoyed walking and looking for things along the shoreline.
We will miss you at the ocean all the time cause it was that much fun having you with us.
We went to Ireland in 1998. Drove 1700 miles from Shannon Airport through everything on the coast to fly out from Dublin. 10 days. The best 10 days of fun.
His 2 cats, jinn and sun and 2 dogs Bella and Rosie will definitely miss him. He was so loving to his pets.
I could go on and on about him. We never were mad at each other. We told the truth to each other cause that's what real friends do.
My husband and I will never forget him. My whole family and Dern's family loved him too. He was just Barry. God created the best person there was.
Someday we will see each other again. Rest in peace my "bestest" friend. Your forever in my heart.
