Delmar- Ronald W. Wilson

Ronald W. “Ron” Wilson, age 76, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023.  He was surrounded by his loving wife Sue, his niece Lisa Heath and longtime friend Lisa Taub.

Throughout his life Ron enjoyed many things.  One of his biggest pleasures was traveling with his wife Sue to Aruba for 19 years.  He retired in 2012 after 46 dedicated years of employment with Local #7 Plumbers and Steamfitters.

Ron leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend of 40 years Sue Wilson.  He is also survived by his brother Donald Wilson (Marian), Stepsister Chris Becker Shepardson (Mike), nieces and nephews and extended family.  He was the son of the late Robert and Janet Wilson. 

The family will receive visitors Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Delmar.  Funeral services are private.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ronnie Luyun and the entire staff at St. Peter’s Medical Oncology/Hematology for their excellent care and compassion and The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital for providing Ron with comfort and care during his last few days.
