Obituary of Michael J. Sullivan

Michael John Sullivan, of Feura Bush, passed away on October 16, 2023.

Born on June 2, 1986, he was the beloved son of Mary (Ruff) Sullivan and the late Michael T. Sullivan.  He is survived by his daughter, Michaelee Nicole; his brother, Tim (Jacqulyn); nieces, Keltyn and McKenna; and nephew, Colin. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Michael attended Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, Hudson Valley Community College, and University of Vermont where he earned a degree in Environmental Studies.   Most of his working career was spent with M. Sullivan Construction, the excavation business his father established in 1987.

Michael especially enjoyed spending time with his young daughter and hiking with his canine companions Lucy, Bella, and Banner, as well as working his saw mill to create a unique barn and garage on his property.

He will be dearly missed. Michael was a man with a big heart and giving nature.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Michael’s life on Friday, November 17 from 4 to 7 pm at Martel’s Restaurant at Capital Hills, 65 O’Neil Rd., Albany.
