Obituary of Margaret Rossi

SLINGERLANDS - Margaret Rossi of Slingerlands reached for the hand of God on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in Hospice at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, in the loving comfort of her family at her bedside. She lived her life with a flair and loved to travel near and far often in the company of relatives. She was an avid reader, accomplished cook and gardener, who loved chatting with passing neighbors. Margaret is survived by that loving family, her husband Peter, beloved daughter Kristin (Michael) Curran of Troy, and son Peter (Virena) Rossi of Ramsey, NJ. She was devoted “Mimi” to her grandchildren, Meaghan and Ryan Curran, and Alexandra Rossi. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mary McNulty of the Bronx and is also survived by her sister Gail (Ralph) Pritts of Fishkill and her niece Rebecca, New York City. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 23rd from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar at 9:30 am on Friday April 24th.
