Obituary of Ann C. Spohr

DELMAR - Ann C. Spohr, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24th at the Teresian House in Albany. Ann was born in Albany on January 19th 1938, the daughter of the late Catherine and Peter Barelski. Ann grew up in Albany where she graduated from Albany High School. She went on to work for the NYS Health Department where she met and married her husband, Robert T Spohr, Sr, who sadly predeceased her in 1987. Ann and "Bob" resided in Delmar where they raised their family. Ann had a passion for life, the casino and enjoyed singing and dancing. She was an avid NY Mets fan and was a fan of Elvis. Ann is survived by her son, Robert (Krista) Spohr of Delmar and her granddaughter, Olive Spohr. Ann will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A private service for family and close friends will be held at the Teresian House in Albany Thursday at 11am.
