Obituary of Pauline A. Zupan
SELKIRK – Pauline Appleby Zupan, 87, of Selkirk, died Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
Pauline was born in Clarksville on June 29, 1929, the youngest of eight children born to the late Lansing and Helen (Frederick) Appleby. Her sisters and brothers have all predeceased her.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael Zupan of Selkirk. She was an employee of PPG Industries for fifty years.
Pauline was predeceased by her sisters; Harriet Ross (Rev. Ralph); Elena Ross (Robert); Rita Stott (Edward); brothers, Leo Appleby (Esther); Willard Appleby (Clara); Stanley Appleby and Donald Appleby. She leaves behind generations of nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the care Pauline has received to the staff of St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, especially her third floor caregivers.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, March 30th at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
