That was interesting to read what all Mr. Albright did. One of my favorite quotes from Richard Bach is: "You gave your life to be who you are today-was it worth it?" He did well with his life. I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to meet him when he moved here to Maryland. My son, Ian, who soon will marry Alison (Aly), his granddaughter, thought a lot of Mr. Albright.
My condolences,
Janice Bunch

I am so sorry to learn of your father's passing. I lived next door to the house that was on Western Ave. in McKownville in the '40's and '50's, and your parents lived in that house's carriage house in the back. I was in my teens, and they hired me as a babysitter on several occasions. They were very good to me, and I loved sitting for them. I don't remember if there were more than one of you at the time, but I never had a problem baby- sitting you. Your Dad would always walk me home across the lawns to ensure that I arrived safely. One night when I sat for them, my older sister was home alone. When your Dad got me safely to the front door, I didn't hear her call out "Who's there?", so when I didn't answer as I walked up the stairs, she called the State Troopers, Guilderland's police force at that time. When your father heard the sirens and saw them stop in front of my house, he ran back over to see if I was ok. It made for a good story, and my sister and I laughed every time it came up in those "Remember when...." times. I never forgot the Albrights (as I always remembered them as), and I look back fondly at those early days of my life when baby-sitting was a good way to earn some extra money. I sat for several families during that period, and I don't remember some of their names, but I have never forgotten the Albrights. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved father.
