Obituary of William Zabel

FEURA BUSH - William G. Zabel, Jr., 58, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at his home. Born in Albany on June 13, 1953, he was the son of William G. and Mary (Towne) Zabel, Sr. of Feura Bush. Bill enjoyed being active with 4H and working on antique engines. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alice (Vanderbilt) Zabel; sons, Gilbert and Benjamin Zabel; siblings, Ed Zabel (Patty), Timothy Zabel (Marilyn); Mary Ann Handel (Greg) and Frank Zabel; special friends, Peter Glatz, Jerry Wickham and Stu Morrison and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, June 30th at the Onesquethaw Reformed Church, Feura Bush. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
