I first met Bill in 1965. I spent several summers working with Bill, Tony, Norm Utegg, Charlie Lassel and Frank Cicero. It seemed like Jean's house would never be finished, but it was. It was such an over the top job that it still boggles my mind. That project was a testament to Bill's talent, skill and persistence. I'll always remember Bill at faculty meetings. The calm, cool professional until he felt the need to speak up. When Bill finally got angry his voice would rise higher and higher as he would take a stand. You could tell whether Bill was angry by the calm, quiet voice or the high and red-faced voice. Bill always had questions about his cars. He kept his old Chevy and Volvo on the road for longer than they ever should. John Foley would just shake his head and fix them. Bill could never give you a ride in his Volvo, because the A/C and dash filled the front seat. Bill, I'll always remember. Dick
